Season 4 of Mad Men premiered yesterday in the US! Very excited to watch another dramatic season and I can’t wait to see all the beatutiful 1960’s costumes and decor.

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010Daydreaming about summer…
Monday, July 12th, 2010I am so excited about a new book I ordered over the internet a few days ago – Resort Fashion: Style in Sun Drenched Climates. Fashion, photography and sunny destinations, sounds like the perfect combination!
I’m really missing summer in the US at the moment, especially as it’s so cold here (well, cold for us!). All I seem to think about is taking a beautiful holiday in the sun! Since I can’t do that, I’ll just have to wait patiently for my beautiful book to arrive.
Lonny #5
Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010Issue number 5 of Michelle Adams‘ Lonny magazine is all about kicking back and enjoying the summer. Although we’re all rugged up in front of our fireplaces in Australia, we loved the issue!
Featuring the summer retreats of designer Bunny Williams and Deborah Lloyd, the Co-President and Creative Director of Kate Spade New York, there is plenty of inspiration for everyone.

The city of Melbourne has long been associated with what is affectionately known as the “rag trade”. From fashion labels you hear about everyday like Sportsgirl, Saba, Metalicus, and Review Melbourne has always been the number one fashion destination for savvy shoppers and retailers alike. The next few days sees Australian Fashion Week in Sydney showcasing a host of designers and international guests and placing Australia in the world’s fashion spotlight.
We were especially excited to hear that one of our favourite bloggers is in town (yes, Melbourne….) for AFW and has hit our streets. ‘The Sartorialist‘ himself is here and roaming the streets of Melbourne looking for the super stylish so watch out! For those of you unfamiliar with the man behind the name, Scott Schuman has taken it upon himself to chart fashion by photos through his now infamous blog ‘The Sartorialist’. For the last four years, Scott been recording these amazing photos on his blog and has now a daily following of 120,000 readers. His views and opinions on fashion are now keenly sought after and his readership continues to grow. So, welcome to Melbourne ‘The Sartorialst‘ and if you have time pop over to our neck of the woods where we have plenty of fashionable fodder!

IN THE BAG
Wednesday, April 1st, 2009Apparently you can tell a lot about a woman by the handbag she carries and even more so by it’s contents. It’s like a window it to her daily life…….
Nathalie Lecroc has been painting handbag portraits at her kitchen table in her rose- scented apartment on the rue St Denis in Paris since 1998.

She gives specific instructions to take nothing out or add anything to your everyday bag before she paints. She is said to be working on a book – cant wait to see it!
My daughter Annis, who insisted on changing the color of my diary and tape measure to match my lipstick, did this montage of my handbag for me.
