We invite you to envy with us this to-die-for abode of MAC Cosmetics’ kingpin, John Demsey. There’s no holding back; every palette’s got punch, but it calms in that classic reassuring way. I love how he’s got what a lot have (acrylic table, white figurine, mono photos, a statement light piece…) but makes the space his own with fearless wall colour and another quirky fair find for good measure. Place Madeline Weinrib Ikat curtains and rug in the mix and the boldness melts… it’s the the ying that the yang is craving. 
Even the assertive black and white rooms with the celeb photos everywhere, somehow want you to stay and sit awhile.
And who would see that dreamy starlight rug that would look right at home in any 80’s tween bedroom, and know to match it with that? Jealous.
