I was totally unprepared for all the work to come my way… It’s been fantastic, and now that I’ve got my systems in place and some desperately needed help I’m back on track.

We love reading blogs and none more so than Kimberlee ‘s Brown Button. Her daily (and often quirky!) musings always leave us happy and sometimes moved. Kimberlee is an accountant by day and shows her creative side through her blog. ( you will have to get out of that office one day…. You are way too talented and clever with words to devote all that time to figures!)
Brown Button has recently opened a shop (online of course) which houses a collection of all things Kimberlee loves. Make sure you have a look – there is sure to be something you will want. Whoops! It looks as though someone has already had the great idea of naming their blog ‘style files’. So sorry Danielle de Lange but it seems that great minds think alike! You will be pleased (relieved!) to know that we have changed our name again to The DB Files so we now no longer clash. We were thrilled to notice (whilst we were on your site) that you have a picture of the beautiful ikat chairs in our showroom! The chairs are ones we had restored and covered in Madeline Weinrib’s Luce fabric. Don’t they look amazing…? What a small world we bloggers live in. Thank you so much for showing this great image and for the link – we really appreciate it!

I have been so busy getting ready for the D&D trade show and for our cocktail launch party with special guest Michelle Adams of Rubie Green, that my blog has really taken a back seat…
