Traditional Home magazine, the stalwart of classic American home design magazines, and Lonny, the fresh and fabulous e-magazine, have joined forces to create a new online publication: Trad Home.
Trad Home will be launched online in May 2011 and we can’t wait to see how Lonny’s Michelle Adams and Patrick Cline & the Trad Home team work their magic. No doubt it will be a huge success – with such impeccable parentage, how could it not be?!

We have been updating our website, which made it impossible to blog unfortunately. We are now back on track!

Whoops! It looks as though someone has already had the great idea of naming their blog ‘style files’. So sorry Danielle de Lange but it seems that great minds think alike! You will be pleased (relieved!) to know that we have changed our name again to The DB Files so we now no longer clash. We were thrilled to notice (whilst we were on your site) that you have a picture of the beautiful ikat chairs in our showroom! The chairs are ones we had restored and covered in Madeline Weinrib’s Luce fabric. Don’t they look amazing…? What a small world we bloggers live in.
