They say that the key to being a great hostess is some serious organisation…. Although perhaps I would add that it’s important not to take things too seriously!

Creating colour outdoors
Wednesday, September 15th, 2010I love that the days are getting longer and the sun is shining more frequently. I stare at my garden each morning and ponder what colour I will add to it this summer to give it a little character. I love having brightly coloured cushions and lounges in my garden to bring the Inside Out and make it a really comfortable happy place to be.
House and Garden Magazine this month have some tips on creating a dreamy outdoor area. They have used Katherine Rally fabrics to warm up a space and add depth. Katherine Rally fabrics are perfect for this sort of application, the range consists of stripes and lovely Balinese prints in fabulous vibrant colours.
