I am so grateful to have made the cover of this extraordinary internationally recognised magazine, and wanted to share my work with you. Many thanks to everyone that has made this possible. A New Year!

This year has started with a bang and an exciting cover on German Architectural Digest magazine!

Due to the success of our interior design firm we have moved into a bigger work space, installed a fancy new project management software, and expanded our team. We are so excited about this growth and all the amazing new projects that we have scheduled for the year.

With so much work for clients in the city and beyond, we’ve decided that it’s no longer possible to continue selling fabrics, wallpaper, and rugs to the trade. Diane will still continue to advocate and use fine American products for her own interior design clients.

So role on 2011, it is going to be a great one!

One of my favourite colour combinations is gold & white. Clean, crisp white and rich, opulent gold seem to work especially well together – creating a fresh and contemporary look whilst evoking some old school glamour. Introducing Katherine Rally!

DB Home has a new fabric line that is making us day dream about summer nights, cocktails and exotic places (more than we were before that is). It is Katherine Rally, it is absolutely beautiful and we are so excited to have this totally new line in our showroom. The colours are extensive and vibrant; there is a delicious tangerine, a lovely versatile kelly green and a stunning pink coral to name just a few.

The name Katherine Rally comes from a talented husband and wife duo, Katherine and Rally Dupps. Their inspiration for the line was during their travels to Indonesia. Surrounded by stunning beauty, they created their own line of batiks inspired by their love of travel, textiles and design.

The range includes fabrics by the yard, cushions and tableware.

We have their line in our showroom now, so pop by if you too are craving the warmer months and in need of a little inspiration.

This image of photographer Matt Albiani’s Nantucket hideaway brings back wonderful memories of going away over the holiday weekend with friends and family. It’s making me miss summer in the US (it is absolutely freezing here in Melbourne!).

The city of Melbourne has long been associated with what is affectionately known as the “rag trade”. From fashion labels you hear about everyday like Sportsgirl, Saba, Metalicus, and Review Melbourne has always been the number one fashion destination for savvy shoppers and retailers alike.
