Whether it be a nice sunny day in Australia relaxing poolside, or back in New York curled up by a crackling fire on a snowy winters day, I am always up for a good read.

I have a passion for libraries in the home, and just love how an entire room can be dedicated to books, books, and more books! Take a look at these libraries and tell me what you think.

A New Year!

This year has started with a bang and an exciting cover on German Architectural Digest magazine!

Due to the success of our interior design firm we have moved into a bigger work space, installed a fancy new project management software, and expanded our team. We are so excited about this growth and all the amazing new projects that we have scheduled for the year.

With so much work for clients in the city and beyond, we’ve decided that it’s no longer possible to continue selling fabrics, wallpaper, and rugs to the trade. Diane will still continue to advocate and use fine American products for her own interior design clients.

So role on 2011, it is going to be a great one!

Sorry for the lack of posts. The past few months have been a blur.
I was totally unprepared for all the work to come my way… It’s been fantastic, and now that I’ve got my systems in place and some desperately needed help I’m back on track.
The New Year will be filled with lots of exciting things for DBI. One project is the DB Home range and on-line store. Soon to be completed and up and running. Please join our newsletter, twitter or subscribe to our blog for all the details.

We have been updating our website, which made it impossible to blog unfortunately. We are now back on track!
Fabric and rug images will be added over the next week with a store to come in October.

We love reading blogs and none more so than Kimberlee ‘s Brown Button. Her daily (and often quirky!) musings always leave us happy and sometimes moved. Kimberlee is an accountant by day and shows her creative side through her blog. ( you will have to get out of that office one day…. You are way too talented and clever with words to devote all that time to figures!)
Brown Button has recently opened a shop (online of course) which houses a collection of all things Kimberlee loves. Make sure you have a look – there is sure to be something you will want.
